The Missional Church

The Missional Church demonstrates the essence and glory of God in the way we worship, care for one another and live within our world.

Because Ekklesia is missionary (missional), by nature we seek engagement with our culture. We want our culture to know that God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in him. We reflect the glory of God to the surrounding culture and invite them to join us in pursuing satisfaction in God. We both demonstrate and verbalize the gospel message of salvation through Jesus Christ as part of the mission.

Ekklesia, as a missional church is a source of hope for all people, and is witness to the new identity and vision, the new way of life that has become a reality in Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit…how we live points to God and his glory and his greatness.

Jesus' compassionate response to human need was an integral part of the message he preached; they were the observable realities that the reign and the glory of God was present in the world. At Ekklesia we live as a missional church through words of love, deeds of love, and lives of love.
